We are able to do everything we do with the help of our community! Long Lake has much more beauty to share than just the lake…

The Violet Trail
The Violet Trail provides a scenic lakeside walk from the boat launch to the beach pavillion. Lucien Petit chose to create this trail as his Eagle Scout project. He named the trail “The Violet Trail” in honor of his great grandmother, who was a former resident who loved the lake and the area.

The Long Lake Trail
The Long Lake Trail is full of beautiful scenery and is educational as well! The trail is 4 miles through the woods with 1/2 mile markers to track your progress along the way. There are benches along the trail to sit and enjoy the beauty, and of course, selfie stations to capture your journey in photos. Be sure to bring along water and bug spray!
From Highway 139, turn on Elm Street by the General Store, follow Elm Street to the very end where it turns to gravel. There you will see picnic tables and the trail sign.
